Happy New Year

Well it's not a new year here yet, but I am still on Australian time so it is the new year for me! I'm doing absolutely nothing to celebrate tonight, but am off to a shrine or temple tomorrow morning with one of my coworkers. Missing home terribly (I want in on the champagne/orange juice action!).

My New Year's resolution is to tell you to post a comment on this blog! Dad is getting worried about the lack of comments. So please, make my Dad happy and post a brief comment! (You don't have to say anything substantial, just write "I read your blog" or something silly like that). Don't feel shy! Anyone can post a comment!

Don't know how to comment? Click the "comment" link at the bottom of this post. Then write your message on the right. Then write the silly numbers/letters in the picture and then click "login and publish". Make sure the radio button is selected as "anonymous" (it should be already)

Yeah, you tell them - the lazy buggers!

Have a great 2006, good to read that you miss us - we miss you too!

Hope this year will bring you everyhing you wish for and more!! More importantly though is to be happy and healthy!! (is my little girl looking after herself?! Oh do shut up Pop!!)

Btw, I know at least one PCc Illiterate (Aunty ???) who tried to post a Comment, but forgot to select an Identity. So for those who fit in this category: do as SuziQ told you on her Weblog but make sure you pick "Other", and voila, it asks you to enter a Name. I suggest you type in your name, don't worry about "Your Web PAge". Then type the wriggly letters in the "Word Verification" box and then click on "Publish Your Comments".

Hey Suzi.
Happy New Year to my darling daughter. We have had a lovely New Year celebration. Despite the fact that it was really hot (42c) I made the traditional Olie Bollen on New Years Eve. Nana would be proud of us for keeping up the tradition that she shared with us in Australia. Andrew and Dad really appreciated the festive treats. Andrew has in fact declared that there is no food better than Olie Bollen! Dad enjoyed the party and entertained everyone by dancing to New York several times. We miss you but you are always in our thoughts. Can't wait till you come home next Christmas.
Lots of Love

Hi Suzanne, this is the completely computer illiterate aunt reporting in, I've now had lessons on how to do this blog thing from your dear father, because believe me I've tried. So Suzi have a great 2006 and we look forward to reading of your exciting year in Japan. Love Lyn (and Ron)

I love to read your reports and watch the photographs.
Nice to read that your Mum still
makes'olie bollen' on New Years Eve, and that your Dad and Andrew

We just saw here on the news that Japan has a lot of snow at the moment.Quite a difference with Australia! Hope you like it.
